I love simple little tips like this! But—after my own household experience of quenching a burning desire to *relax* by mistakenly pouring a bath with [burning and irritating] orange peels (after following the advice of a Japanese handbook like the Baking Soda one you mention)—I have to raise one objection. I just don't know if I trust something that you can BOTH clean your toilet with AND calm your heartburn. What?!?! But of course, I'm intrigued and will try it immediately. Nothing could hurt more than burning your entire body in citric acid and the steaming water. Right?
